Age Requirements

Main Platform

Minimum age is 18 years old. The main Momz & Popz platform may feature alcohol-serving businesses and nightlife-oriented content not appropriate for minors.

U-Town™

U-Town is designed for college students and requires users to be 18 years or older. U-Town may include alcohol-eligible businesses where appropriate.

Momz & Popz Next™ — Parent Approved™

Momz & Popz Next™ is our family-friendly experience designed specifically for ages 13–18. It features only school-appropriate, family-safe businesses. No alcohol, no nightlife, no adult promotions. Parental consent is required for all users under 18 years of age.

What Information We Collect from Younger Users

Account Information

Name and email address are required to create an account. For Momz & Popz Next™ users under 18, a parent or guardian email is also required for consent.

Location Data

We may use general location data to show relevant local businesses. We do not track precise GPS location without explicit consent.

Usage Data

We collect standard usage analytics (pages viewed, searches made) to improve the platform. This data is not sold.

No Sensitive Data Collection

We do not collect financial information, Social Security numbers, or health data from any user, including minors.

We use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. Parents may manage cookie preferences using the consent banner on first visit.

How Notifications Work

Momz & Popz Next™ may send deal alerts and business notifications by email if opted in.

SMS notifications require explicit opt-in and can be stopped at any time by texting STOP.

Parents can request that all marketing notifications be disabled for their child's account.

No notifications are sent for alcohol, nightlife, or adult content on the Next™ platform.

How Parents Can Remove an Account

Parents or guardians may request the deletion of their child's account at any time. To request deletion:

Email privacy@mompopzlife.com from the parent/guardian's email address.
Include the child's account email address and a statement confirming you are the parent or legal guardian.
We will process the deletion request within 30 days and confirm completion.

Alternatively, users who are 18 or older may delete their own account from their account settings.

Our Safety Commitments

Momz & Popz Next™ features only family-approved, independently verified businesses.

All businesses on Next™ are screened to exclude alcohol, adult content, and nightlife.

Content on Next™ is moderated to be appropriate for ages 13–18.

No targeted advertising based on a user's minor status.

We never sell data belonging to users under 18.

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) for users under 13 — the platform is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Report Inappropriate Businesses or Content

If you discover a business or piece of content on Momz & Popz Next™ that is not appropriate for your child, please report it immediately to trust@mompopzlife.com. We take these reports seriously and investigate all claims within 2 business days.
